Rothamsted Christmas Party - Dec 7th
Every year the Rothamsted Manor staff throw a Christmas party for all of the residents. Good food compared to normal, and of course lots of free drinks.

The eternal climb. With the weight of the panniers and the length of the hill, I ended up pushing my bike up most of this bit.
A view of the hills and moors below "Wuthering Heights," a few miles away from Haworth, the little grey town where the Bronte family lived.

Dent, a village in the Yorkshire Dales. It was worth riding down here, despite the endless climb out of town to Ingleton.

Oxford - October 7-8, 2006
Audrey and I caught a ride from Rothamsted to Oxford with another Rothamsted student this weekend. Audrey's brother David is a Fellow at Oxford studying Criminology and his wife Jen is working on Doctorate at Cambridge studying Synesthesiology. They gave us a nice tour of "Christ Church College" at Oxford and cooked us a great dinner.
